Right, so I don't buy those numbers for one minute. I'm guessing I'm a bit dehydrated or something combined with the traditional massive weight dump on the first week of a diet, because one does not loose five pounds when they were as bad on their diet as I was this week. Allow me to elucidate:
Monday I was good on the diet. Tuesday was a cheat day and I was fairly bad. Wednesday I had lunch with my folks and was as good as I could be (Caesar salad for lunch, went to the nursery with my mom rather than wine tasting with my dad) and I think I may have actually kept to the diet this day, or was only off by a couple of points. Thursday I was good on the diet. Friday was a cheat day and I was horribly bad. Saturday I spent the whole day working in the garden and by the end of it I just didn't care anymore--I was actually good through dinner, but there was wine and port and vaguely diet friendly cookies after. Sunday I was actually good on the diet, even though we ordered out for pizza.
I should further clarify that I also only went running three times this week for an average of around 50-55 minutes each time. Although I'm going to say that working in the garden for several hours counts as exercise.
Anyway, we'll see what happens when I'm actually good on the diet for a week. But hey, if I keep loosing 5 pounds per week, this is going to be a really short diet.
