Running Update
Jul. 24th, 2008 12:19 pmI managed to run for 58 minutes 44 seconds today keeping a fairly normal pace. I'm exhausted, but considering that I went for a normal run yesterday, I think I can assume that I'm getting back into 10k form. The ibuprofen seems to be helping (two tablets whenever I can remember) and icing down my legs--or at least running cold water over them in the shower for about five minutes--after runs also seems to help. My ankle/shin is still stiff and sore in the mornings, but it loosens up pretty quickly. I'm getting new shoes tomorrow regardless.
