Last week: 192.2
This week: 191.4

Bet start: 199....  I have until Sept. 3 to lose 2.4 pounds.  I shooooould be able to pull it off if I stay focused.  The trick is going to be not letting myself worry about it, and just do my best to recover from the shoulder injury without straining myself.

Last night, I was able to do half-weights on my upper body, one circuit of all machines.  10-15 pounds lift without pain is still better than 10 pounds with violent cramping and fatigue.  I'm still sore from the massage (it was full-force therapeutic pressure and stretching, so there's some small amount of soreness to expect), so this week, I'm breaking up my M-T-Th/F routine and doing T-Th-F only, half-weights, half circuit.  I spent two weeks with this injury, it's stupid to try to act as if it's healed from one massage session.

Starting weight (6/30): 234.0
Week 5 weight (8/3): 233.0
Week 6 weight (8/11): 233.0
Week 7 weight (8/18): 234.5

I weighed in last week, but didn't get around to posting. Not much to report, anyway. I'm frustrated that I'm not making any progress (I blame the current uptick on water weight), but I really shouldn't be surprised considering I've hardly modified my behavior or food intake. Okay, I've been trying to avoid processed foods and I'm consciously trying to knock corn and all of its byproducts (corn syrup, corn starch, etc) out of my diet due to digestive sensitivities. That's not enough on its own, though. It certainly doesn't help that I'm in the middle of moving, so my kitchen is getting packed up and I don't want to have to move food from one fridge to the other, so purchasing Real Food has been put temporarily on hold. I am a little more active, between packing boxes, loading cars, and unloading cars (with flights of stairs at both old and new residences), but it's not enough.

I guess that's my theme: Not Enough.

At this point, it's unlikely (bordering on impossible, and definitely unhealthy) for me to reach my goal of 15 pounds lost by September. I had not yet established either a carrot or stick for myself, so it might be time to get on that (maybe that lack of motivation played into it? who knows). What can I say, it's been a rough month.
