Just finished the Covey Run 10k. Let's see how I did:

Objectives

Run the entire 10k. Check
Do not finish last. Check
Don't throw up at any point in the race, including after it's over. Check
Stretch goal: Run faster than 11 minute miles. Bloody Check

I finished with a time of approximately 1hr, 1min, 45 seconds. I say approximately because I cleverly left the chip that interfaces with my Ipod at home and therefore have no way to tell my actual time. I could still listen to music, though.

Of the four of my clan who ran, I was the slowest, but that's just because my dad, brother, and sister-in-law are healthy freaks of nature. I am, however, the only one who met all his goals for the race, though, so I've got that going for me.

And now I'm going to shower, because frankly I smell like El Diablo Malordoroso on free chili night.
