215 even today at weigh-in, having undone the most recent bout of damage (up to 218) but not all of the accretion since December (low point: 205). I'm enjoying biking to the shuttle stop, though since the shuttle arrived as I was locking up the bike, I should leave about 5 minutes earlier in future. I'll walk around the campus as soon as I post this. Still need to be vigilant about my water intake. I'm not good at keeping hydrated.

Currently I have two ongoing fitness bets. To do 1500 situps or ab type exercises a week and to lose 20 pounds by SiliCon. I consider these to be mutually beneficial to each other. Losing weight makes situps easier and situps help one to lose weight. Win win, assuming I can get to the gym enough times in a given week.

I think that is my biggest failing as a wanttobe fit person. I find excuses why "today" is not a good day to go to the gym. I'm getting a late start, I missed breakfast, I forgot my combo lock, works been really hard and I "need" a double cheese burger darnit!

Intellectually I know I'll feel better if I go to the gym. I'll get those endorphines going. I won't feel guilty about my ever expanding waist line. Etc etc.

Got to work on my self discipline, so here I go again, down the only road I know...
