I didn't post my weigh in results last week because they were wonky, and I'm vain enough not to post that I gained 2 pounds in a week when I don't think that's what's happened. Our scale is still acting odd, but since 210 has always been a plateau for me, I'm willing to believe that this is a relatively accurate number. Just need to keep doing long runs and hope for the best, I guess.

Well there is always progress assuming one makes an effort. I lost 4 pounds between last Monday and today. Monday's at the gym are a good weigh in time for me. It means that I've gone to the gym and whatever weekend damage I have inflicted on myself is slightly counter-acted by my workout. Losing 20 pounds by SiliCon is looking pretty solid at least. Assuming I don't make up the difference with heavier muscles. Sadly i did not make my situp quota this past week so I owe Petra a forfeit. Which is not to say I did not do over a thousand of the darn things, I just didn't reach 1500. My bad.

I attended my first kickboxing class in the middle of work today. It was full of AWESOME. I am sore. I will sleep well tonight.

Did I mention "woohoo?"

I return to class next Monday to make sure I am happy with the instructor (he is out this week), and then I start paying for classes; btw, the new job compensates up to $50 in wellness programs. The $30 this costs counts. I do it for my lunch break, so I'm not tired before or after work...at least too tired to do it.

They have two classes a week, and I'm stepping in to share a personal trainer with a co-worker on Thursdays. From 0 working out to 3 times a week; and I can increase the intensity of each as I get better at 'em.

Also, I still have endorphins right now. Wheee!
