Forgive me Livejournal, for I have sinned. It's been 30 days since my last confession... So what I've been trying to do lately is what I like to think of as the "Try to be good, and exercise like a madman" diet. It's worked well for me in the past for maintaining my weight, but obviously not so much this time. I actually have tried to get back on the diet, but it's been hard lately. I'm toying with the idea of going without booze for a week or two and seeing how that works for me. I usually have the points left for plenty of wine, the problem is that once I have the wine I have less willpower to be good on the diet in other ways.

As I've been posting, the running is going very well indeed. I entered my training regime into my scheduler and it seems a bit wussy. Like I said, I'm going to consider those seriously minimums until we start getting into the 5-6 mile range. Of course my legs have also been complaining as well, but additional stretching has been helping there and once I get going they're fine. I'm also going to take additional ibuprofen and try to rub them out more to help with that. We'll see how it goes.
